Who Should Get Tested for Syphilis?
You should consider getting tested if any of the following apply to you:
- You are a man who has sex with men (MSM)
- You are living with HIV
- You are pregnant
- You’ve recently been diagnosed with chlamydia or gonorrhea
- You’ve had a sexual partner who tested positive for syphilis
- You are sexually active and live in an area where syphilis rates are high
- You are taking PrEP to prevent HIV
- You are currently or were recently in a correctional facility
