Hepatitis C

At Cintex Community Health, we offer individual testing and screening for Hepatitis B and C, with treatment options available when necessary. Our services are fast, confidential, and designed to support your long-term health.

Hepatitis C Testing

We perform a rapid test for Hepatitis C right in our clinic. This simple test uses a small blood sample and delivers results in just 15 minutes. Hepatitis C is most commonly spread through sharing needles or syringes, but it can also be transmitted through unprotected sexual contact with someone who is infected, or through tattoos and piercings done in unregulated settings.

If your test result is positive, our care team will guide you through your treatment options and connect you with the care you need.

Hepatitis B Screening

We also provide regular Hepatitis B testing, especially for patients enrolled in our PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) program. Testing is typically done every three months as part of routine care. Hepatitis B can be spread through sexual activity, contact with infected blood, shared IV drug equipment, and exposure to bodily fluids like semen.

Please Note:

Cintex Community Health does not test for Hepatitis A. This form of hepatitis is usually spread through contaminated food or water. If you need testing or treatment for Hepatitis A, we recommend following up with your primary care provider.
